To save your time and to provide maximum protection when performing your banking transactions any time or during your travels, we are pleased to offer you SNB Token as an alternative* verification method when logging in to your account or performing transactions without the need to wait for SMS.
*Subscription to this feature is optional. You can also move SNB Token between devices free of charge via the "Change Device" feature mentioned below..
Requirements - You must have at least one active Saudi Riyal account with SNB, in order to register for service.
Fees – One time subscription fees for SR 25 exclusive of VAT. VAT, which shall be added to such amount at the prevailing applicable rate on the date hereof and then charged to you.
Downloading SNB Token – download the app via smart devices stores (App Store – Google Play) using the word "SNB Token"
1. Requesting – via AlAliMobile or AlAhliOnline
After logging in, from the Home page: Via AlAhliOnline and AlAhliMobile:
1. Click " Settings", then "SNB Token"
2. Click " SNB Token Registration "
3. Select the Account to deduct the fees from, then click "Proceed"
4. Service fees will be display, then click "Proceed"
5. Enter the OTP sent to your mobile, then click on "Finish"
6. "Serial" and "Activation" numbers will be shown, to be complete the sync with SNB Token app.
For reference, you can view the "Serial" and "Activation" numbers any time before activation, if needed, by visiting SNB Token page and clicking "Activate"
2. Syncing – syncing your device with the app
After downloading SNB Token to your smart device, follow these steps:
1. Start the SNB Token
2. Enter a PIN for the app, and re-enter to confirm
3. Add your Touch ID or Face ID
4. Scan QR using the application from step 1 AlAhliOnline
5. Enter the "Name" for the token
6. Enter the "Serial" and "Activation" numbers from step 1
7. Click "Next" to generate the "Registration Code", please ensure to take a screenshot of the "Registration Code", to be used during the next step "Activation" process. When visiting an SNB ATM.
3. Activation – to use SNB Token, activation is required
You can activate your requested Token through AlAhliOnline or AlAhliMobile or by Visit any SNB ATM, and follow these steps:
Using AlAhliOnline:
1. Visit AlAhliOnline, click " Settings", then "SNB Token" and "Activate"
2. Enter the "Registration Code" shown from step 2
3. Enter the OTP sent to your mobile
4. You will receive phone call from SNB to activate your Token. Press 1 to confirm, then the 4 secret digital number of banking services.
5. Token now is activated.
Using AlAhliMobile:
1. Start AlAhliMobile, click " Settings", then "SNB Token" and "Activate"
2. Enter the "Registration Code" shown from step 2 or click on "Connect to SNB Token"
3. From SNB Token click on send code to AlAhliMobile then Next
4. Enter the OTP sent to your mobile
5. You will receive phone call from SNB to activate your Token. Press 1 to confirm, then the 4 secret digital number of banking services.
6. Token now is activated.
Using ATM (Alternative Activation Method):
1. Enter your number and PIN of Mada card from SNB
2. Click "Other Transactions" then "Electronic Services"
3. Click "Activation" then "SNB Token Activation"
4. Enter the "Registration Code" shown on the screenshot taken from the previous step
5. Click "Confirm"
After the confirmation, the receipt will appear confirming a successful activation.
Now when logging in or performing transactions via AlAhliMobile and AlAhliOnline, SNB Token will be your default choice for verification.
Transferring SNB Token between devices is free of charge via the following "Change Device" feature.
4. Moving
To transfer your Token from one device to another, follow these steps: After logging in to AlAhliMobile or AlAhliOnline, and from the Home page:
1. Click "Settings" and "SNB Token"
2. Click "Change Token" then "Confirm"
3. "Serial" and "Activation" numbers will be shown, to be complete the sync with SNB Token app.
Now you can sync SNB Token by completing steps 2 and 3 above
