12 month duration plan is available from 01 January 2024 until 31st August 2024

 

Smart Payment Plan is an innovative payment plan from SNB Credit Cards to ease your monthly payment at 0% percentage rate for 3/6/12 months.

 

Lower your monthly burdens when using your SNB Credit Card and Smart Payment Plan that allows you to convert your payments into a plan with 5% minimum monthly payment for 3/6 months at 0% percentage rate.

Example on Smart Payment Plan for 3 months at 0% percentage rate for purchases of 3,000 SAR using AlAhli Credit Card:

What is the permissible period for paying transactions with 0% annual percentage rate?

The permissible period is 3 or 6 or 12 months based on customer request.

 

What is the monthly limit you are obligated to pay with the Smart Payment Plan?

The percentage is fixed with 5% monthly deduction from the converted transaction to Smart Payment Plan.

 

Are there any additional fees?

There are no additional fees customer obligated to pay to join Smart Payment Plan.

 

What’s the minimum amount for changing transactions to Smart Payment Plan?

Minimum transaction amount to be transferred is 1,000 SAR during the offer period.

 

To benefit from Smart Payment Plan all you have to do is following the list below (after 48 hours from the transaction date, customer can start requesting the new Plan):

 

1) AlAhli Online:

• Log in to alahlionline.com

• Select Credit Card

• Select installment option

• Select the eligible transaction for installment

• Confirm your request after reading the service terms and conditions and accept it.

 

2) AlAhli Mobile App:

• Log in to AlAhli Mobile Application

• Select AlAhli Credit Cards

• Select installment option

• Select the eligible transaction for installment

• Confirm your request after reading the service terms and conditions and accept it.

 

Terms and conditions:

• Customers can only use their existing credit limit to obtain Smart Payment Plan. No extra credit is offered with this facility.

• If the customer is on 5% payment method, he/she must submit the Smart Payment Plan request before the due date of the requested transaction. Else, customer must submit the Smart Payment Plan request 4 days before the statement.

• The minimum amount for Smart Payment Plan, depends on the bank and merchant agreement.

• The maximum amount for Smart Payment Plan is 100,000 SAR for total purchases with a certain merchant.

• All Smart Payment Plans must be paid within the specified period with a minimum limit 3 months and maximum limit of 6 months.

• There is a maximum of 4 Smart Payment Plans per account.

• Customer shall commit to the plan period agreed between him/her and the bank. The customer can cancel the smart payment plan at any time during the Plan period or request for an early settlement.

• In the case of a merchant offers the Smart Payment Plan with an agreement with the SNB, the merchant is solely responsible for all obligations and liabilities in connection with the supply of goods/services or any defect or damage.

• Any dispute pertaining to a purchase or the provision of any goods or services lay with the merchant:

• The card holder must resolve such disputes directly with the merchant.

• The liability of the cardholder and his obligation to make payment to SNB shall not be affected by any such disputes.

• SNB is not responsible for the investigation of or the resolution of any such dispute.

• SNB reserves the right without any liability to cancel or suspend the installment option program at any time with sharing the reason with the customer.

• In case of a credit card upgrade, all transactions on the old credit card will be transferred to the new credit card including the installment plan.

• When the smart payment plan period agreed is completed, customer may choose the payment method to settle the remaining due amount in his/her AlAhli Credit Card (5% or 100% or another amount). If the customer selected 100% as a payment method to settle all his/her outstanding balance, APR will not be charged. If the customer selected 5% as a payment method to settle his/her outstanding balance, APR will be charged based on the customer card tier.

• SNB reserves the right to amend or alter these terms and conditions and inform the customers 30 days before applying the changes.

• These terms and conditions are in addition to the terms and conditions as set out in the SNB cardholder agreement which regulates the provisions of credit card facilities by SNB and any other terms and conditions imposed by SNB at any time.

• SIn the event of inconsistencies between these terms and conditions and the previous SNB credit card terms and conditions agreement, these terms and conditions shall prevail in so far as they apply to the installment plan.

• In the event of any inconsistency between Arabic text and its English translation, the Arabic text shall prevail.

• These terms and conditions shall be governed by and constructed in accordance with the law of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
