NCB honours the winners of “Pay and win” campaign

Wednesday, 23 October, 2013

The National Commercial Bank (NCB) honoured the winners of “Pay and Win” campaign, a program launched by the Bank to encourage its customers to use Sadad service to settle payment of any utility bills or government payments through any of Al Ahli electronic channels.

A ceremony was held at the end of the campaign program, where Hamed Mohammed Fayez, NCB Senior Executive Vice President, Head of Retail Banking Group, congratulated and honoured the winners in the attendance of Saad A. Al-Abdali, Executive Vice President, Head of Branch Banking Division at NCB.  Omar Abdullah Al Omar, from Riyadh, and Mohamed Al Ghamdi, from Jeddah, were the first winners and won Samsung screens and home theatres. In addition, more than 17 in kind prizes (such as Samsung Galaxy S4 and Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1) were given to other winners.

Sadad service is available through all Al Ahli electronic channels for paying any utility bills or other government bills, which constitutes a qualitative jump to enhance electronic government and support the technical development that serve the field.  It ensures maximum levels of flexibility, convenience and security.

When launching such projects, NCB seeks to cope up with its customers’ requirements and needs by activating government payments by Sadad service through Al Ahli electronic channels around the clock. On the other side, the electronic transactions which have been completed through electronic channels reached more than 94% of the bank’s total transactions.

The winners were selected automatically when they used Sadad services on Al Ahli online and Al Ahli Mobile to settle their utility bills, government payments, local and international transfers, in addition to recharging of SAWA and LANA cards.  Only transactions of no less than SAR 100 qualified to the weekly draw, and five transactions of no less than SAR 100 qualified a customer to enter the monthly draw that lasted 8 weeks.

Sadad service enables the Bank’s customers to settle their government payments by direct deduction from their accounts through Al Ahli electronic channels (AlAhli Online, AlAhli Mobile, AlAhli Phone Banking and AlAhli TM).  It also enables all other citizens and expatriates to pay cash through cash deposit machines in all bank branches around the clock.   However, this campaign was only for Sadad payments through AlAhli electronic channels, either AlAhli Mobile or AlAhli Online.
