Jeddah Governor presents IPA’s award to NCB

HRH Prince Misha'al Bin Majed Bin Abdul Aziz, Governor of Jeddah, presented the Institute of Public Administration (IPA)award to the National Commercial Bank (NCB) being the mostnational companythat employed graduates from the Institute for the year 1433 – 2012. The opening ceremony of Graduate and Career Day was held at IPA premises in Jeddah under the patronage of HRH Prince Misha'al Bin Majed.

​Mr. Bleihid N. Al Bleihid, NCB Senior Executive Vice President, Head of Group Human Resources Sector, received the award appreciating the honor of receiving such award from HRH Prince Misha’al, and expressing his pride ofNCB to be the most national company that employsIPA graduates. HRH Prince Misha’al also presented a plaque and a certificate of appreciation to NCB for sponsoring the ceremony.

HRH Prince Misha’al visited NCB’s section in the accompanying exhibition and listened to a detailed presentation by NCB’s Head of Human Resources Sector on NCB plans and programs on employment and saudization in all branches of the bank through the Kingdom.  

“NCB participation to attract graduates by attending and sponsoring such exhibitions and Graduate and Career Day events confirms the bank’s adherence to accomplish its national and social commitments that come in line with the directions for the national corporations and institutions to support the national caliberswho are able to contribute in various development fields as the first and real factor to make a success for businesses.”Al Bleihid said.

He added: “NCB winning the Institute’s plaque of this year reflects NCB excellent efforts to attract, train and employ the national human resources. In addition, HRH Prince Misha’al bin Majed’s sponsorship of this ceremony demonstrates our government’s great support and endeavors to provide job opportunities for youth.

Al Belihid stated that saudization constitutesa key element ofNCB strategy, where it is correlated with the development of bank’s capabilities and expansion of activities. This will be reflected on the bank’s performance, revenues and contribution in supporting the national economy.

He concluded: “In NCB HR sector, we build our priorities on many elements: supporting the business sectors, introducing programs and services that help our employees achieve their goals in a professional work environment, in addition to attracting and training the Saudi talents to meet our current and future needs.
