NCB opens Jabal Omar Branch in Mecca

The National Commercial Bank (NCB) announced inauguration of its Jabal Omar new branch in Mecca, which comes in line with the bank’s ongoing efforts and expansion plans of Islamic branch network for easy access to its products.The National Commercial Bank (NCB) announced inauguration of its Jabal Omar new branch in Mecca, which comes in line with the bank’s ongoing efforts and expansion plans of Islamic branch network for easy access to its products.

​Saad A. Al-Abdali, EVP& Head of Islamic Branch Network Division, said that opening this new branch comes in line with NCB’s great interest in its customers putting them at the heart of its development projects, as well as the bank’s endeavours to make all services compatible with state-of-art banking technologies through the Kingdom.  This new branch will help the bank provide best services to its customers through expansion of its operations to meet the customers’ great demand on personal banking.

With this new branch, the bank will have 16 branches in Mecca; 5 of them are for women. These branches provide all banking, financing, and investment services in compliance with Islamic banking rules approved by NCB’s Shariah Board.

The new Jabal Omar branch will also help in providing services for the Holey Mosque visitors. It also reflects NCB commitment to expand its branch network through the Kingdom to service its wide base of customers in a complete range of banking services and products to meet their requirements.

NCB uses innovative and modern engineering layouts in its buildings to cope with the huge technology development in banking industry, which enhances the bank’s trend to develop good relationships with different categories of customers through a modern banking environment.

NCB branch includes main sections; a customer service section which is equipped with complete range of electronic services machines enabling the customer to complete transactions through these machines such as deposit, withdraw and payments; in addition to the personal banking section equipped with state-of-art service tools to give the branch more flexibility to deal with different classes of customers.
