NCB opens new 9 QuickPay centers during H1-2014

​Money transfers to more than 200 countries 24/7

Total of 66 centers achieved 2.5 million remittance transactions this year

​The National Commercial Bank (NCB) boosted its geographical expansion  by opening new nine QuickPay centers through the Kingdom, which brings the total to 66 centers. Quickpay transactions have reached 2.5 million during H1 the year.

The new centers were distributed in Riyadh, in Al-Aqeeq and Al-Qwayayah; in Jeddah, at Al-Hamdania and Bin Laden; in Mecca, Al-Shawqiyyah, Otaibiyah and Al-Aziziyah; and the new centers in Jazan and Jubail.

This new opening comes within NCB ongoing efforts to expand its operations, increase its base of customers, and meet the demand on quick remittance services. The bank increased its channels and service outlets to be able to reach its customers and provide them with quality services through high professionals, which will help the bank achieve one of its five aspirations to be the best bank in customer service. 

Hamed Fayez, Head of Retail Banking Group at NCB, said: “Money transfer sector is one of the most important sectors for any bank. It provides a big spectrum of customers with quick but high-quality service. We make safe and simplified international transfers 24/7, either through the QuickPay centers or AlAhli alternative channels such as ATMs and phone banking.”

Hatim Moussa, Head of QuickPay Department at NCB, commented on the QuickPay service saying: “QuickPay staff speak various languages that help them serve a wider spectrum of customers and enable them make their transfers to more than 200 countries, in addition to the competitive exchange rates.”

“We offer the customer three transfer options: direct deposit into the beneficiary bank account, collecting the money from remittance centers or delivering the money to the beneficiary’s home address. The customer can make his transfers through the corresponding banks, which keep both the sender and beneficiary updated on the status of the remittance by sending SMS to the beneficiary,” Moussa said.

QuickPay centers channel is very vital for NCB, as it serves over one million customers, who can make their transfers from their account in few seconds and the beneficiary can collect at the same working day.
