No currently only retail purchases made through merchants or on-line can be converted to Installment Plans. Please note that payment of bills through merchant websites using your credit card can also be converted.

what does an «Installment Plan» mean?

Installment Plan is a scheduling of paying a specific purchase in fixed installment on a specific period that the customer chooses from several options Installment Plan converts your purchase into a schedule of easy monthly repayments over a specific period.
How many purchases can the customer convert to installment plans?

The customer can install a maximum of 4 transactions (the customer has 4 active installment plans at any one time) for each card (supplementary cards are counted with the primary card). If the customer has 4 active scheduled plans, he/she can install a new purchase after a full payment of any of the active scheduled plans (taking into consideration the transaction date and the date of installment schedule request)
Is it possible to combine more than one purchase in one plan?

No, each purchase (transaction) will be separatly installed in an installment plan specified for that purchase. Each plan is considered as a separate request.
What are the minimum and the maximum amounts that can be converted into installment plans?

The minimum amount is SR 1,000 and the maximum amount is SR 100,000 or the card limit (whichever is less). Any current balances on the credit card cannot be transfered to an installment plan. When can the customer request to convert a purchase into an installment plan? ( installment plan request)?
Can I convert a cash withdrawal into an installment plan?

No currently installment plans are only available for purchases.
In the case of early repayment , is there any return of the profit margin?

No you are obliged to pay back the full remaining balance including any profit margin, fees etc.
Is it possible to convert the installment plan to another card in the case of a product change?

No, any product change request will be refused if you have any installment plans. You have to pay back the full balance in the installment plan before you can change your product.
Do I have to change my direct debit instructions if I am on a minimum payment plan or full payment plan?

No, you can be on any payment method. The monthly installment will be deducted in addition to any outstanding amount according to the payment method (maximum amount or minimum amount)
Can I cancel the installment plan or pay back the installment plan early?

No, it is not possible to cancel the installment plan or pay back the installment plan early. When you make an early payment, the amount will be taken as an extra credit on your card. Monthly installments will be due for your plan as per normal.
Is it possible to cancel the installment plan in the case of returning the product to the merchant?

Yes, only if the merchant retain the amount to the card. If the money is returned in cash, then you need a confirmation letter signed by the Chamber of Commerce together with return receipt from the merchant. Once you have this, send it to NCB Telephone Banking for cancellation. It will take approximately 15 working days for the process to be finalised.
How purchase transaction and its intallment plan are displayed in the Credit Card statement?

Purchase Transaction is displayed like any other purchase transaction. After establishing the installment plan, a credit transaction will be posted with the same purchase amount under «converting a purchasing transaction into an Installment Option». At the end of the statement, all details of installment plan are displayed and they include:

• Installment Plan Code
• Total Installments Duration
• Total amount of remaining installment (including monthly installment / current statement)
• Duration of remaining installments (including the month / the statement)
• Profit margin charges for the current month / statement
• Tawaroq fee for the current month / statement
• Installment amount of the current month / statement
How can the customer get details on his / her current installment plan?

No, it is not possible until now. For any concern the customer has to go back to his / her credit card statement which includes the installment plan.
Are there any fees related to setting up a plan?

There may be processing fees charged for the transaction except 0% for 12 months option that is available in some merchants for specific periods.

All you have to do is to use your NCB credit card to purchase at any merchant inside or outside Saudi Arabia, then call AlAhli Phone Banking (9 2000 1000) and go the credit cards menu and talk to the agent to convert your payment to Alaa Dofaat.

Customers can obtain the installment facility by using his existing credit limit. No extra credit limit will be offered for this facility
Customer has to apply for an installment plan for any of his purchases at least 3 days before the statement day.
The minimum amount to be installed is SR 1,000 for a single purchase.
The maximum amount to be installed is SR 100,000 for a single purchase. or 4 plans totaling SR100,000 based on his credit limit
If a customer moves to another product all his installment plans balance will have to settled. This includes the profit margin and any fees.
Maximum number of installment plans is four per account.
A cash advance transaction is not valid for an installment plan but an on-line purchase transaction is valid.
In case your payment method is 100% deduction it will be changed to minimum payment for any installment plan.
Cancellation of the installment plan (s) will not be allowed at any time during the installment period.
If the customer wants to settle early then he has to pay the full remaining amount including the profit margin and fees
NCB reserves the right to reject any request for installment plan without assigning any reasons. NCB will not be liable for any claim arising from this refusal.
In the case of a merchant installment plan, the merchant is solely responsible for all obligation and liabilities in connection with the supply of goods/services or any defect or damage.
In the event of any dispute pertaining to the purchase or the provision of any goods or services with the merchant:
- The card holder shall resolve such dispute directly with the merchant.
- The liability of the cardholder and his obligation to make payment to NCB shall not be affected by any such dispute.
- NCB shall not be responsible for investigation or resolving any such dispute.
NCB reserves the right without any liability to cancel or suspend the installment option program at any time.
In case of a credit card upgrade e.g. a classic credit card is upgraded to gold or gold to platinum, all transactions on the old credit card will be transferred to the new credit card including the installment plan.
NCB reserves the right to amend or alter these terms and conditions from time to time without prior notice.
The terms and conditions are in addition to the terms and conditions as set out in the NCB cardholder agreement which regulates the provisions of credit card facilities by NCB and any other terms and conditions imposed by NCB from time to time for credit card facilities.
In the event of any inconsistency between these terms and conditions and the previous NCB credit card terms and conditions agreement, these terms and conditions shall prevail in so far as they apply to the installment plan.
In the event of any inconsistency between the Arabic text hereof and its English translation, the Arabic text shall prevail.
