Our SMS service lets you stay up-to-date with your accounts through simple text messaging. You will receive notifications and confirmations regarding:

Receipt of salary payment
Money transfers
Bill summaries and payments
Utility bill payments
IPO, Fund subscriptions, redemptions and transactions relating to your investment account performed via online banking
NCB Credit Card Transactions
Receive annual reminders about birthdays or anniversaries, as well as NCB general announcements.

Do I have to pay for this SMS service on my credit card?

There is no charge for this service.
Which mobile number will you send the SMS notification to?

The mobile number that has been registered in Alahlionline under AlahliSMS
What details will I receive on my SMS when I make a transaction?

Depending on your selection:
Detailed: Contains complete transaction details (Transaction amount, Merchant Name, Transaction Time, and Card Balance) and National Commercial Bank contact info
Short Notification: Contains only a notification of the transaction and National Commercial Bank to contact info
Will there be SMS notification for supplementary card transactions?

Yes, there will be notifications to the primary cardholder and to the registered mobile number.
How can I subscribe to this service?

You are automatically subscribed to the short notifications SMS. You can subscribe to the detailed SMS via visiting Alahlionline page.
I do not want to receive this service, what should I do?

If you wish to cancel the service, please visit the nearest NCB branch.

Applying is Easy

If you would like to apply for AlAhliSMS Service just follow the simple steps below:

Login to AlAhliOnline
Select from the main menu “AlAhliSMS”
Select the “Bank Account” Tab
Fill Out the fields on the screen
You’ll find in the “General” section a list to choose your preferred language to receive your SMS notifications under “Language”

To modify your Credit Card Notification preferences just follow the next simple steps right after logging in AlAhliOnline and choosing AlAhliSMS from the Menu :

Select the “Credit Card” Tab
From the “Credit Card Number” drop down list select the Credit Card you wish to change its notification preferences. Click on Update to display the selected Credit Card’s preferences.
The “Credit Cards List” will appear displaying all your selected Credit Cards (Principal or Supplementary) and the changes will be applied on both.
Under the “Notification Type” , you can choose the desired notification either “Detailed” to receive a detailed SMS of the complete transaction details. Or you can choose “Short Notification” to receive an SMS notifying you that a transaction has been conducted on your card. Finally “None” will stop you from receiving notifications of any debit transaction on the selected Credit Card(s).
In “Minimum transaction amount for notification” field, you can change the minimum amount (in Saudi Riyal Currency) to receive a notification about.
After modifying the preferences, click the “Update” button to submit the changes.
