Awards NCB received in 2008 include:

  • ‘Best bank in the field of social responsibility’ from Jeddah Council
  • First place in Nationalisation Process and the Prince Naif Bin Abdul Aziz Award for our pioneering role in Saudization
  • ‘Best private sector financial institution in the field of social responsibility’ from ITB Group
  • ‘Leadership Award in social responsibility in the Middle East’ for our efforts toward supporting community service programs
  • ‘Best Bank in the Kingdom for 2008’ from The International Financial Times’ magazine The Banker
  • ‘Best partner developer in the emerging segments in the continents of Asia and Africa’ from MasterCard International
  • An honorary award from the Council of Ministers of Labor and Social Affairs in the GCC countries, acknowledging our excellence in localising workforce at the level in the Gulf Cooperation Council GCC Countries
  • ‘Best Bank in Islamic Finance in the Kingdom for 2008’, presented by the Group of Islamic Conferences, the International Real Estate and Finance IREF-ICG in collaboration with the Royal British Property Federation

  • King Khalid Competitive Responsibility Award’ from The Saudi Arabian General Investment authority
  • The Islamic finance products that NCB succeeded in creating contributed significantly to the development of modern Islamic banking industry."
