NCB a pioneer in leading and supporting initiatives in the community.,In 2004 NCB became the first bank in the Kingdom to initiate a dedicated teamforto community service.

The goal of the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)initiative was to serve the community, help improve the local and national economy, help improve education, engage and support social activities and help improve the health sector.

In 2009 CSR’s scope was widened to include all stakeholders, suppliers and interest in  environment and natural resources sustainability was considered.

NCB's roleis not only measured in profitability calculations. Rather, it stems out of being a key part of local communities.  And being aware of social and religious responsibility is a key pillar of NCB's strategy.

NCB strives for successful relationship between the development of the society and the success of institutions. With the belief that the more advanced society becomes, the more achievements are realized. Consequently, the contribution of these institutions to the advancement and development of the society will be equally in favour of both parties.

NCB recognizes the importance of its role as a major employer in the private sector in supporting the national development drive. 

Within the community, NCB endeavours to improve the skills of Saudi nationals through training and capacity development and to help them to overcome whatever barriers they face These programs include support for low-income and poor families, orphans and persons with special needs.

Additionally, NCB provides support and help to charity associations and organizations involved in this field. To this effect, NC utilized its financial, human and technical capacities and resources.
