Through these programs, NCB seeks to help young nationals to have appropriate job opportunities by refreshing their qualification, training them and developing their capacities to cope with the needs of contemporary labor market. The program also aims at supporting small productive enterprises to provide them with the required studies, and the proper foundations to establish and sustain their enterprises. NCB also contributes to the development of crafts and professional capacities of productive families and head-of-household women in order to help secure a source of decent income for them, which will eventually support the national economy. Thanks to God, NCB managed to accomplish many achievements through three programs:

   AlAhli Direct Employment Program

This program aims at contributing to the efforts of minimizing the unemployment rate in Saudi society through qualifying the unemployed youth and improving their abilities for meeting vacant job requirements in the private sector. Here lies the importance of quality training for meeting the requirements of these jobs and providing job opportunities to as much Saudi's as possible to enable them to be productive and to contribute to developing the society. During 2010 AlAhli succeed to employee 75 male and female in the privet sector in the main cities (Riyadh / Jeddah / Dammam).

AlAhli Small Business Program

Believing in the importance of small enterprises in the economic cycle of countries, NCB gives special attention to the youth as the prime drive of these businesses by focusing on developing their knowledge and skills in planning, implementation and management in order for such enterprises to be based on knowledge, expertise and methodological principles, particularly when the major cause of failure in most enterprises of this type can be attributed to the lack of adequate experience and scientific studies.

Therefore, NCB has adopted two projects and they are entrepreneurs’ development and entrepreneurs support, and every one of these two projects contains several short-courses and/or activates, they are:

1-      Entrepreneurs Training Project.

NCB provide through this project different short-courses to youth, and these courses goals is lighten youth toward the available opportunities in the market and helping them to success.

·         How to Start Your Small Business Course:

This course aims at providing the youth with the proper scientific method for planning and selecting enterprises according to scientific bases, and teaching them how to prepare economic feasibility studies to be able to evaluate the prospects of success or failure of an enterprise based on sound foundations. 1,722  trainees were benefited from the program through 83 customized courses and 46% of graduates established their business.

·         How to Start Your Own Home Business Course:

his course aims at providing the trainees with basic skills that qualify them to start their own business at home according to proper scientific bases. Since 2006 till the end of 2010, the program conducted many courses in several different cities. 1,013 trainees benefited from these courses, and 46% of the graduates started their home business.

·         How to Develop Your Small Business Course:

This course was aiming to develop the management skills of small business owners to be capable to operate and manage their project, the course consist of 10 days of intensive training program. Since 2009, 154 business people benefited from developing their businesses.

2-      Entrepreneurs Support Project.

This project aims at motivating and helping entrepreneurs to increase their performance thought:

·         AlAhli’s Start-Up Award: 

This award started in 2009, and its goal is motivating company to use their full potential success and encourage them to apply Saudization, as a result there were 31 companies nominated to Global Competitiveness Forum 2010 in Riyadh.

 

 AlAhli Productive Families Program

The program mainly targets men or women who are the sole sponsors of their families or those who are members of low-income families.  It aims at qualifying these women to be in a better position to actively contribute to supporting their families by teaching them vocational crafts that enable them to secure a steady source of income and help them to attend to the requirements of decent living for their families, and this help done thought:

·         Handcrafts Training Project:

Within this program 4,637 man and lady has been trained since 2006, during 233 customized courses among 26 cities around the Kingdom and 70% of the total has already start producing.

·         Micro Loans Project:

This program aims at providing monetary help to trainees, in order to increase their capability to use their maximum performance. 154 loans have been issued since 2009 in 3 different cities around the Kingdome.

·         Charity Stabilization Project:

This program started in 2010, and aims at enabling these organizations to provide training to the community, recently 9 classrooms were built in 7 different organizations.
