AlAhli Educational Development Program
· Supporting the "Injaz" Initiative:
Injaz program aims at qualifying and preparing the students of public education system to meet the requirements of the labor market in terms of practical expertise through the provision of cost-effective instructional courses for school and university student. This training scheme comprise a series of training courses, each is organized during a full academic semester with an average of one hour a week. The inception and launch of this program came from the US Junior Achievement Corporation which started in 1919. The program was adopted in the Arab World in 2004 starting in Jordan.
Today, the program is implemented in several Arab countries under the name Injaz Al Arab Program. Realizing the significance of the program, NCB shouldered the responsibility of brining in the Program to KSA to take its advantages. The start was in Jeddah where a number of programs were conducted in 2007, including the “Corporate Program”, "How to Become A Leader in My Community" Program, and the “Life Enterprise Program”, in 38 schools in Jeddah with the participation of 38 volunteers to train 3,466 female and male students.
· Since & Math Teacher Training Project:
this program was initiated to develop both male and female instructors’ skills in science and mathematical fields that covered 32 cities around the kingdom, which conducted in collaboration with King Saud University and Ministry of Education to train 134 instructors.
· Scholarship Project:
This program is targeting high school graduate, until now 9 scholarships has been Granted to 9 different students in 3 different collages around the Kingdom.
· The Imagin Cup Project:
Started in 2009, it is an annual event conducted by Microsoft Corporation for students in different fields to encourage them in applying their imagination, their passion, and their creativity to bring to life technology innovations that can make difference in the world. 26,100 students were involved in this program and 2,000 students male and female from colleges and universities around the kingdom managed to contribute in this event.
· Needy Families Member's Training Project:
This program started in 2010, the ultimate goal of this program is training children of needy families whom can’t offer their children with the adequate training, thus, 314 students had the chance to be trained, this was done with collaboration with 18 charitable organization in 5 different cites.
· Forming Specialized Education Centers Project:
This program started in 2010, and aims at establishing special needs centers around the kingdom in collaboration with the ministry of education, as a result; 20 centers has built in 15 different cites
