Reporting directly to the CEO, our Islamic Banking Development Group was established in 2006. With a specific focus on the development of Islamic banking, their aim is to:

• Stay current with international developments Islamic banking to maintain our leading position.
  
• Provide consultancy services to NCB departments with an aim to offer all customers more effective Sharia compliant solutions and products.
  
• Support executive management in creating strategic plans for Islamic banking across departments.
  
• Coordinate with departments to develop specialised training programs focused on Islamic banking.
  
• Set up regulations and criteria for reviewing the bank’s Sharia compliant transactions, and issue regular reports on standards compliance.
